The Axis Group of companies has won a contract to provide the security service and a supporting receptionist role to the in-house front of house team at international City law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges offices in London.
The services will be delivered through two of the group’s key brands, Axis Security and Acuity.
In tendering for a new security contract, Margaret Lloyd, Head of Facilities and Front of House for Weil said that the company was “seeking a modern security company with a more personal service” and which ensured that the security team would be properly managed and well supported.
Lloyd added that throughout the tender process, Axis showed that it puts its employees first: “We knew that they already provided security services to other law firms, so they understood the working culture of a law firm where the day never really ends. They also presented a fantastic training schedule for the officers to make sure they have the appropriate industry skills, alongside other training to really help with their personal development and career progression.
“Since appointing Axis Security, morale amongst the team has soared. Weil is a great firm to work for but we are pleased that they now have great management support from Axis and we can already see that they are taking advantage of the availability of training.”
Axis Security Managing Director, David Mundell, is pleased to be providing a total service. He commented: “We are also delighted to have found a partner in Weil that is as equally eager to support the security officers and receptionist on site to reach their full potential.”
Axis Security has also been able to open doors for Weil to meet with other businesses in the area who share similar security concerns through the Paternoster Business Forum.
