i-Clean launches waste management & recycling arm

Independent best-practice benchmarking specialist i-Clean, has expanded its Efficiency Reviews to include Waste Management, to meet the broader needs of its customer base.

The service, now available, offers best-practice expertise and support to help Facilities & Estates Managers move their organisation higher up the waste hierarchy, from zero tolerance to landfill through to making waste an asset of their business.

According to consultant, Paul Taylor who will head-up the department “waste is too often an overlooked and undervalued resource. When in fact, a good sustainable waste management plan can make any organisation significant savings, and greatly enhance their green-credentials.”

The Waste Management System will follow the same format as i-Clean Efficiency Benchmarking Reviews: Review, Implementation and Certification, and is available as part of a cleaning review, or a discrete waste management project.

Mike Boxall, i-Clean Managing Director added “we see waste as a natural fit to our reviews. We already follow waste through an organisation to the back-door. It makes perfect sense to take this several steps further ensuring organisations are meeting their legal obligations and minimising, reusing, recycling and reselling as much of their waste, as possible.”

i-Clean have worked on local to international projects across the spectrum of education, healthcare, public sector and private institutions, from blue chip organisations through to treasured attractions.

To mark the Waste Management launch, i-Clean are offering FREE Initial Assessments to all sectors. Call 01684 580 680 or email efficiency@i-clean.info
