The new role will encompass Norse’s FM operations together with the company’s specialist companies, print supplier Interprint, Norse Security and independent living products provider n-able; a portfolio with an annual turnover of around £10 million.
The divisions employ around 300 staff and Vanstone will have eight senior managers reporting directly to him.
Vanstone, who has been managing the FM division within Norse as Head of service for the past three years, will report to Norse’s Group Director of FM and Buildings, Nick Maddox, who said of Vanstone’s appointment: “Daniel has been successfully overseeing strong growth and development within existing contracts, and the development of Norse’s service engineers division for some time. As part of the total facilities management offer we provide, we see many for the services that Norse Security, Interprint and n-able offer as natural fits under the wider FM banner. Under Daniel’s direction we are confident we will continue to grow and develop these areas of the business.”
