The YMF recently joined forces with CoreNet–Young Leaders, and BCO-Nextgen to bring together a broad and diverse group of young leaders working in Workplace to raise money for its chosen charity Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice – a community-based hospice service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in Central and North London and Hertsmere.
The event, which was held in Regents Park and raised £1,400, saw young leaders from across the facilities management, real estate and office fit-out and design sectors partake in a game of softball followed by networking with drinks and burgers.
Daniel Hawkins, Head of the YMF Forum said: ‘’One new direction the YMF is taking, is to collaborate with like-minded forums across the spectrum of our industry. To be able to bring a mixture of young talented professionals together to play, network and raise money for charity is a wonderful achievement and this event is the first of many to come.’’
All three organisations have agreed to create future collaborative events, with the next one rumoured to be alongside Linkedin.
