Sykes to take up new role on ISS’ Executive Group Management Board

ISS has announced Richard Sykes, currently CEO ISS UK & Ireland, will join the the company’s Executive Group Management as Regional CEO Western Europe.

Sykes has been working at ISS since 2012 and has been instrumental in developing ISS UK & Ireland as a lighthouse business for the Group.

Under Syke’s leadership, the UK & Ireland team has successfully grown and expanded the ISS business. Of particular note is the success in the development of major integrated facilities management business in both the public and private sectors.

UK & Ireland is the largest business in ISS, representing 16 per cent of Group revenue, and has around 47,000 employees.

Commenting on Syke’s new appointment, Jeff Gravenhorst, Group CEO ISS said:

Richard’s appointment is yet another testament to the strength of our leadership pipeline expanding across regions and countries. I look very much forward to welcoming him to the EGM and to seeing him apply and extend his leadership, drive, and positive mind-set in this wider role. Under his leadership, Richard has bought some major IFM clients to our roster.”

Sykes added:

Sykes will take up his new appointment no later than 1 October 2016. He will continue to be based out of the UK in his new role.
