ABM bags Islington retail deal

The integrated facilities solutions provider has been awarded a three-year deal with commercial real estate consultants, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) for the delivery of FM services at its Angel Central Shopping Centre in Islington.

The contract will see ABM’s team deliver a total facilities management package of mechanical and electrical, security and cleaning services throughout the centre which is owned by CBRE Global Investors, and is home to a strong line-up of shops, restaurants and cinema.

This latest win adds to ABM’s portfolio of retail clients, which already includes several other LSH sites located across the UK.

John McPherson, Managing Director at ABM UK commented: “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with the team at LSH. The contract for Angel Central provides us with an opportunity to deliver both our technical and facilities management services, offering more efficiency for our client in a central London location.

“As we look forward to a phased return to normality over the coming weeks, we understand now more than ever, that our clients need to reassure the public that buildings and public spaces are safe and secure.”

Adam Cummins, Centre Manager at Angel Central added: “ABM’s extensive experience in technical and facilities management services, together with its impressive operational approach and understanding of enhanced cleaning procedures makes them a valuable extension of our team.  With ABM’s expertise behind us we look forward to the easing of further lockdown restrictions and seeing Angel Central, safely and securely, busy once again.”
