Academy flooring project takes on the world

Selby-Carpets-MIFM-May-2014Selby Carpets, the leading flooring and carpet installation specialist, has refurbished the flooring at the prestigious St Mary Magdalene Academy, London. The project included a visually stunning bespoke globe design and a prominent Academy logo in the entrance hall.

Working closely with the facilities manager at the London-based Academy, Selby Carpets ensured the correct balance between the right flooring material, visual impact and cost. Due to high footfall, hardwearing 100% recyclable Polyflor vinyl flooring was used in the Academy, reflecting St Mary Magdalene’s branding and colours.

“St Mary Magdalene wanted to create an environment conducive to learning and the flooring space here lends itself as a canvas to inspire.

“Selby Carpets did a fantastic job with the minimum of disruption and the end result is stunning.

says Dave Sands, facilities manager at St Mary Magdalene Academy.

“We work closely with our clients to make sure all their flooring needs are met. Our attention-to-detail, expertise and flexibility set us apart from the competition,”

explains Ian Winsley, Selby Carpets’ Managing Director.

“From specification right through to the installation, we listened and advised the Academy on the right solution.”
