Sodexo is expanding its business in the health care sector with the acquisition of MTS Health Limited.
Founded in 1999, award-winning MTS Health is a UK provider of medical equipment asset management with expertise in clinical engineering – a biomedical speciality to use technology to optimise healthcare delivery.
MTS Health specialises in strategic equipment planning, procurement; clinical engineering and medical equipment asset management. Leaders in its field, MTS mobilises professional teams of clinical scientists; clinical engineers; CIPS procurement and project managers.
The company is currently involved in the Government’s high-profile Health Infrastructure Plan and has recently won a significant operational project delivering clinical engineering services across 91 healthcare sites.
MTS Health has successfully commissioned more than 30 large hospital redevelopments throughout the UK during its two-decade tenure and was recently awarded the BBH Clinicians Choice Award.
The acquisition enables Sodexo to build on existing business in the USA and Asia Pacific regions, and MTS Health’s wealth of technical knowledge and operational experience to enhance services for clients in the UK & Ireland.
