AM Services Group stays on at Johnson Matthey

AM Services Group has secured a new two-year contract to continue its provision of security and cleaning services at Johnson Matthey in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

The global distributor manufactures catalyst products at the site, which are supplied to customers around the globe in the chemicals, oil, gas and agrochemicals industries.

Since AM Services Group appointment in 2013, the contract has been subject to regular internal review. The quality of service provided by the North West-based FM company has given Johnson Matthey sufficient confidence to extend the soft services contract without a further tender process.

Mark Stanley, Engineering Manager for Johnson Matthey, commented: “We’re continually impressed by the knowledge and dedication of the security and cleaning team, as well as the proactive management of the contract to deliver service efficiency and clearly demonstrate value. The staff deliver a strong, professional service and the AM Services Group team actively strives to continue to enhance the service, striking the perfect balance with quality and cost. As a top-tier COMAH site, it is essential that the 24/7 manned guarding, access control and CCTV monitoring security services are robust. However, the AM Services Group security team have the experience to set exactly the right tone, matching attention to detail with a friendly face and helpful manner.”

AM Services Group’s Managing Director, Adrian Cresswell, added: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Johnson Matthey in Clitheroe. This contract extension reflects our commitment to our clients and the exceptional attitude of our staff.”
