Adrian Cresswell, managing director of AM Support Services pledged his continued support as an Entrepreneur in Residence at an event held last week at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS).
The Entrepreneurs in Residence initiative is a group of 21 owner-managers from around the North West who help LUMS and its Institute for Entrepreneurship to develop programmes that fit the needs of other owner-managers, and to enhance the experience of students through activities and career guidance. Other aspects of the role include, helping to foster business ideas and contribute to classroom activities, acting as Ambassadors to help promote the Department’s business support activity and supporting the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation with the recruitment of undergraduates.
“I’m delighted and feel privileged to be an Entrepreneur in Residence for one of the top 10 management schools in the world. As an organisation I think AM Support Services has benefited enormously from the LEAD programme and the post-LEAD GOLD initiative. It has helped us make important strategic decisions about the business and make long term plans. I’d recommend LUMS to anyone who runs their own business.”
