Amulet extends educational portfolio

Amulet, the security division of Churchill Contract Services, has won a three-year contract with South Thames Colleges Group (STCG).

The contract, which commenced on 1 September 2018 sees Amulet provide a suite of security services – including manned guarding, event security, and knife search operations.

South Thames Colleges Group encompasses five Further Education Colleges: Carshalton, Kingston, Merton and South Thames with sites around South West London, spanning four boroughs of Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Wandsworth. It educates approximately 23,000 students annually, including 16-18 year olds, adult learners, apprentices and offers employer training programs.

Serena Lowe, Regional Director at Amulet, commented: “We’re excited to extend Amulet’s foothold in the education sector. South Thames Colleges Group is a prominent institution in the capital, with a prestigious history. That said, the team at STCG has really embraced our vision of providing a forward-thinking security service.”

The contract is worth in the region of £400,000 over the three-year term.
