Amulet secures Millennium Point deal

The specialist security arm of Churchill Group, Amulet, has won a three-year contract to provide security services for Birmingham’s iconic Millennium Point.

The contract, which commenced on 1 April, will see Amulet provide a full suite of security services, including concierge, front-of-house duties and event management.

Millennium Point is a landmark building in Birmingham City Centre comprised of award-winning event spaces including a 350-capacity auditorium, flexible workspaces, meeting rooms and offices. It also houses tenants including Thinktank and Birmingham City University (BCU). The Millennium Point Charitable Trust invests in projects which support science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) in the West Midlands and reinvests profits from its commercial activity.

Darren Read, Managing Director of Amulet commented: “Millennium Point is a unique multi-use venue and as such it needs the support of a security partner that understands the different levels of security to be provided. Amulet has the knowledge and experience to provide the broad range of services that Millennium Point requires. I am delighted to have this opportunity to develop and grow our service together.”
