Aramark has won a seven-year catering services deal with South Gloucestershire and Stroud College.
Aramark now provides catering, food retail and hospitality services to almost 15,500 students and college employees located across the college’s six campuses in Wise, Filton, Berkeley Green and Stroud.
Under the terms of the deal, the caterer will showcase the very latest in food concepts, trends and innovation with offerings such as salad bars, hot jacket potatoes and soup stations. It also plans to expand the hot and cold to-go ranges on offer.
A new more customer-centric look and feel to all the campuses will also be introduced, by implementing a whole new approach to the layout and consumer experience. There are also plans to invest in the college estate, with a new restaurant planned for Filton in the next two or three years, and expansion plans for Wise Campus and Berkeley Green.
Andy Slaney, Chief Operations Officer, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College said: “We were very impressed with how Team Aramark engaged with us throughout the tender process and really listened carefully to our objectives and fully took them on board. Aramark’s wealth of experience operating within the education sector clearly came through in our conversations – as did their drive to enhance the students’ daily college experience.”
