Aramark recognised as a top employer for diversity and inclusion

Aramark, the $15 billion global provider of services in food, facilities management and uniforms, has been recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion by two American business publications.

BLACK ENTERPRISE named Aramark one of its Top 40 best companies for diversity and CAREERS & the disABLED ranked Aramark among its Top 50 employers for providing a positive working environment for people with disabilities.

Lynn B. McKee, executive vice president of human resources for Aramark said:

“We are honoured to be recognised by BLACK ENTERPRISE and CAREERS & the disABLED for our commitment to diversity and inclusion, As a proud employer of 270,000 associates around the world, we believe that a mosaic of backgrounds, styles, perspectives, values and beliefs are what enable us to enrich and nourish the lives of the millions of clients and consumers we serve every day.

“This recognition is extra special because we are sharing it with so many of our client partner companies. Aramark is honoured to serve 35 of the 40 best companies for diversity and 42 of the top 50 employers for people with disabilities.”

BLACK ENTERPRISE is a premier business, investing, and wealth-building resource for African Americans.  The magazine surveys the top 1,000 publicly traded companies, as well as the 100 leading global companies with strong U.S. operations. The qualitative survey focuses on activities related to the participation of African Americans and members of other ethnic minority groups in four categories: employee base, senior management, board of directors and supplier diversity. This is the 5th time that Aramark has been named on the Top 40 list.

CAREERS & the disABLED is the only national career recruitment publication for people with disabilities in the United States. The magazine surveys readers who select the top companies in the country for which they would most prefer to work or believe provide a positive working environment for people with disabilities. This is the first time Aramark was named on its Top 50 list.
