ARC plans digital FM future with Expansive Solutions

FM company Expansive has been selected by Arena Racecourses to be its FM digital partner. The three-year CAFM contract with Expansive will dovetail with a wider digital transformation project across the organisation.

ARC operates 20 venues across the UK, welcoming 1.2 million visitors to 500 fixtures and entertainment events every year. Its complex estate encompasses 16 racecourses, four greyhound stadia, hotels, golf courses, restaurants and a pub.

The group will use the Expansive CAFM platform to centralise all its FM operations; increasing visibility and control over work orders, asset maintenance, compliance and supply chain management.

Commenting on the deal Dan Walley, Head of Property and Facilities at ARC, said: “Until now FM for each venue has been executed separately and digital records were fragmented across different systems and excel sheets. This was holding us back. With Expansive FM we’ve now got the software to manage contractor relationships more effectively. We’ll be able to improve communications, establish KPIs and optimise performance. It will make the management of our entire estate more streamlined and efficient.”

The appointment of Expansive follows a major restructuring programme, which includes an ambitious, digital transformation project.

Walley added: “Following the restructure we’re leaner, more competitive and more focused than ever on delivering exceptional visitor experiences. As we open our doors to guests after lockdown, Expansive’s CAFM will give us the oversight we need to drive value, respond to changing needs and meet the highest standards of compliance.”

Josh Greibach, CEO of Expansive Solutions commented: “We’re delighted ARC have chosen us to facilitate the digital transformation of their FM strategy With our mobile first technology, personalised workflows and data driven approach we’ll help them bring a new level of contractor performance and asset management to their estates.”
