Assist Group secures maintenance partnership with Kier

National FM specialist, Assist Group, has won a seven-year contract with Kier Group to deliver streetscene and grounds maintenance services as part of its new Highways Alliance with Shropshire Council.

Assist provide a wide range of highways and facilities services to local authorities, highways agencies, social landlords and the private sector on a national basis.

The deal with Kier comes after working together on a number of successful contracts across the UK.

The partnership approach Kier is delivering for Shropshire represents an innovative approach designed to maximise customer value by using sector specialists to complement its core delivery model.

Commenting on the contract award, Dave Dargan CEO of Assist said: “We have enjoyed a long successful relationship with Kier, who are a high-quality partner. We are looking forward to working together with them and Shropshire council in what will be a great partnership.”

David Welsh, General Manager for Kier in Shropshire added: “We look forward to working with Assist to deliver an excellent service for residents and businesses in Shropshire. These key partnerships will add value for Shropshire, bringing specialist knowledge and national best practice.”
