The global services provider is one of 59 companies worldwide to achieve the accreditation, joining the likes of the NHS England, John Lewis and Heineken UK.
All 59 companies have taken proactive steps in the last 12 months to safeguard against unethical conduct in procurement and supply management.
The awarding body, CIPS, is a not-for-profit organisation and the world’s largest professional serving procurement and supply institute. The Ethical Procurement and Supply accreditations focus on issues including corruption, fraud, bribery, exploitation, and human rights abuses in supply chains. Organisations involved are facilitated in implementing strategic policy and creating a procurement environment in which best practice is carried out.
To gain the accreditation, businesses must measure and improve their current performance, adopt the CIPS code of ethics and publicly state a commitment to ethical sourcing.
