Atalian Servest has selected Mind, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland as its charities of the year following an employee vote.
Atalian Servest’s dedicated charity committee will oversee the company’s fundraising activity in support of these three charities until December 2020 when new charities will benefit from the initiative.
Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity supporting anyone affected by any form of dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and, Alzheimer Scotland provides a range of services for people affected by dementia and their carers in Scotland.
To kick start Atalian Servest’s fundraising support for the three charities, CEO UK & Ireland Daniel Dickson and other members of the senior management team including HR Director Kelly Howell, MD of Security Steve Moore, and Sector MD Jen Bates will embrace a new challenge and take part in the Great East Run on 22 September 2019.
Daniel Dickson, CEO UK & Ireland at Atalian Servest, said: “It’s so rewarding to be raising money for such worthy causes. Each charity is fundamental in dealing with some of the UK’s largest health issues which is why the team at Atalian Servest voted for these with such passion and commitment. Allowing colleagues to make their own selection for which charities we should support is great for employee engagement and no doubt we will see some fantastic fundraising as a result.”
