Axis secures £1.2m deal with CEG

Axis Security has been awarded a £1.2 million security services contract by the property group, CEG, whose property portfolio is valued at £800 million.

Speaking about the contract award David Mundell, Managing Director of Axis Security, says Axis is able to offer both a core and enhanced service, as all dedicated staff are given first aid, fire marshall and customer service training.

He added: “There is an increasing demand for security officers that not only perform their primary function, but also uphold their employers’ reputation and retain their customer base by providing excellent customer service.

“Our people-centred strategy means our staff receive a level of training that enables us to deliver a service noted for its consistency and excellence nationwide. We can also deliver a tailored approach to individual sites, which is why major companies such as CEG are placing such huge trust in our people and our management team.”

Site based officers are supported by mobile patrols.

Axis took control of the national portfolio on 1 October 2020.

Webinar – Prioritising wellbeing in a Covid-secure workplace

FMJ has teamed up with Zip Water, creator of award-winning sustainable drinking water systems, to discuss the ways in which FMs can safeguard the provision of essential amenities within the workplace as we emerge into a new era of touch-free, socially distanced offices.

During the event, which will feature a panel of leading FMs and an FM services provider, we will discuss how FM professionals, office managers and HR managers can balance the need to manage shared spaces, such as staff kitchens, while maintaining a safe environment and meeting energy and waste reduction targets. This will include a look at some of the latest touch-free technologies; including apps to manage workflow and hands-free automation (e.g. automatic doors, taps etc).

Join us on Wednesday 25th November at 11:00am for an event which will address the ways FMs can meet their commitment to ensure the wellbeing of people as an integral part of their sustainability remit.
