B38 Group announces maintenance acquisition

Wakefield-based B38 Group, a specialist provider in outsourced contracting and facilities services has acquired Woods Building Maintenance Limited, based in Leeds.

The acquisition extends B38 Group’s ability to self-deliver mechanical and electrical building services across the Yorkshire area.

Woods Building Maintenance was founded by Jordan Woods in 2011 and has grown revenues in excess of £1.5 million per annum.

Commenting on the acquisition, Richard Phillips, co-founder of B38 Group, said: “Acquiring the Woods business furthers our already strong foothold in the Yorkshire region and gives us the ability to offer clients a higher degree of self-delivery and thus a higher level of service.

“We are pleased to be working with Jordan Woods and look forward to our continued relationship as Jordan joins the team as Head of Operations.”

B38 Group has been particularly successful in tendering mechanical & electrical contracts over the last financial quarter having secured several new contracts worth in excess of £12 million over contract lifespan.

The business plans to move its headquarter operations in February 2019 to the Marchant Gate development in central Wakefield and expand its depot and regional office reach across the country thereafter.
