Barnsley Norse wins £360k housing association deal

Barnsley Norse has secured a three-year cleaning deal, worth £120,000+ per annum with Wakefield and District Housing (WDH).

The contract, which covers eight of WDH’s corporate buildings, including its head quarters, Merefield House, will see Norse responsible for  cleaning around 8,800 sq m of offices, reception areas and meeting rooms in those sites that are public facing.

Commenting on the contract award, Ian Broadhead, Business Manager at Barnsley Norse, said: “We are extremely proud to have won the cleaning for such a prestigious housing and relate services provider.

“The new contract began on 1st November 2018, and we are working closely with WDH to ensure that the cleanliness of their premises is to the high standards associated with one of the country’s leading accommodation providers.”
