In a newly created role, Scanlon will be responsible for the company’s operational and business development activity in the Midlands and North as it continues to grow its regional presence across the UK. MacLaurin, who joins as Non-Executive Director of the business, will support the board with governance, strategic and commercial guidance. He has over 30 years of experience in hospitality, sport and leisure, working both domestically and internationally. MacLaurin has owned and managed numerous FTSE 100 and private businesses, and created innovative food and beverage offers across a multitude of sport and leisure venues.

The company has also appointed Matthew Fox as Business Development Manager. Reporting to Greetham, Fox will support the growth of the company through its business development succession planning.

Wendy Bartlett, Founder, Bartlett Mitchell, said: “I am delighted to welcome these incredibly talented people into our BM family. We have always worked hard to ensure that we constantly invest in our business, and people are a critical part of that process.

“We know that, in order to keep growing in a sustainable way, we need to find people whose values are aligned to ours. Our Fundamentally foodie values aren’t just a piece of marketing, they define everything we do. That’s why we invest a lot of time and resource to recruit and retain the very best people in our sector.”
