The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) has launched its 12th annual Sustainability in FM Survey.
Led by the BIFM Sustainability Special Interest Group (SIG), the survey, which is now in its 12th year, provides invaluable information about what aspects of the sustainability agenda organisations are engaging with, and the drivers that bring issues to the forefront of business.
Results from the 2017 survey showed that as well as seeing the importance of sustainability to organisations increase for those already invested in it, it also highlighted the growth in social value agenda and mapped trends covering both digitalisation and energy benchmarking.
One of the other themes to be identified in last year’s outcomes was that for sustainability issues the levels of staff engagement – from frontline to C-suite – increased across the board.
The survey is open to all FM professionals in any organisation and those operating in the FM industry including full and single line service providers, suppliers and consultants. To take part please click here.
