The city played host to the annual Thomann-Hanry summer party – now an integral part of the construction industry’s calendar and arguably the biggest social event within the trade.
Basking in the balmy summer sun, over 200 guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon and evening on a stunning rooftop terrace overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral. With a continuous flow of champagne to celebrate Thomann-Hanry’s ongoing success in 2016, the charming atmosphere was enhanced by London jazz trio, ‘The Futuristic Gramophones’.
With unrivalled views of the city and St Paul’s Cathedral, the Sky bar at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel was a perfect venue for Thomann-Hanry to highlight some of its recent work to clients.
Close to the iconic Bank of England, cleaned by Thomann-Hanry in 2015 using the scaffold-free ‘facade gommage’ system, ‘One New Change’ (the exclusive shopping development managed by Land Securities) is also nearby. Here, the interior experts at Thomann-Hanry cleaned and treated internal flooring with their all-in-one protection, Aqua Fend, last summer.
CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle and Grosvenor Estates were just some of the property giants who joined the guests and were able to network with influential members of the industry.
If champagne and music weren’t enough, top magician Darren Delaney wowed the party with inexplicable tricks and magic. The generous barbecue was delicious and helped create that true summer party vibe.
Mark Styles, managing director at Thomann-Hanry comments, “This year is the biggest and best annual party we’ve held so far. When we’re so busy with jobs in London and further afield to be able to say thank you to all our clients is important. With contacts throughout the property and construction sector the party has also become a key summer networking event for the property industry and we look forward to welcoming our guests again next year.”
