Boden Group wins contract at HM Naval Base Portsmouth

The facilities management specialist has been appointed by KBS Maritime as a strategic partner to provide FM and reactive maintenance services to Her Majesty’s Naval Base (HMNB) Portsmouth as part of the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP).

Under the terms of the contract, Boden Group will deliver a suite of hard facilities services to cover strategic estate management, planned and reactive FM, and the delivery of additional works programmes to develop infrastructure at the base.

The contract will be delivered using locally employed skilled staff with experience working on the existing contract, and approved local supply chain partners to provide specialist services.

Commenting on the contract award, Andrew Beagley, Boden Group’s Managing Director, said: “We’re excited to be part of the Future Maritime Support Programme and delighted to be working with KBS Maritime to expand our FM services further East at such a prestigious site.”

Boden Group has established a strong reputation for delivering facilities management within the defence sector in the South West. The company’s continuing ambition to develop services for Local Government, Healthcare and Education clients across the South was enhanced with the opening of its Amesbury office in 2018. The award of this contract further strengthens this strategic objective.
