British Land launches flexible workspace club

Two years after launching Storey, the flexible workspace brand, British Land has introduced Storey Club, a new concept offering customers additional flexible space with quality services.

Designed by Gensler, the 10,000 sq. ft. club space includes a lounge area for informal meetings over coffee or lunch and several themed meetings rooms available for private dinners, corporate functions and events. As well as the space, services such as catering and on-site technical support are provided by the Storey Club team.

Storey Club will add to British Land’s campus offer of delivering workspace on traditional or flexible leases in mixed use environments. The first Storey Club will open at 4 Kingdom Street, Paddington Central and will be open to all Storey members and the 30 other occupiers at the campus. Paddington Central is also home to several new restaurants, bars and gyms including Coco Di Mama, Vagabond and Beany Green.

The Storey Club concept will be rolled out to British Land’s other campuses over the next 12-24 months.

Chris Grigg, Chief Executive, said: “Storey Club is a new way for us to give our customers access to additional space on a completely flexible basis. It’s a natural evolution of Storey and a further benefit for our campus occupiers.”

Storey will be operational across 316,000 sq.ft by the end of the year at its three London campuses as well as standalone buildings such as 19 Wells Street. Customers include WiredScore, Rotageek and Starling Bank.
