Business transformation leader takes up CEO role at Novus Property Solutions

National maintenance, compliance and construction contractor, Novus Property Solutions, has appointed industry specialist Steve Davies as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Davies is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results within facilities and asset management, engineering, leisure and business services markets. Previously he has held Managing Director roles in Serco Group Plc, Compass Group Plc and Kier Group Plc. allowing him to bring unique insights from the heart of the construction and maintenance sectors to his new role.

Davies’ last role in the construction industry was as Group Business Development and Customer Service Director of Kier Group Plc. and in his most recent venture, he was founder and Managing Director of two consultancy firms, specialising in advising on profitable growth, compliance and governance, and new market sectors.

Novus has set itself ambitious growth targets for the next five years and Davies will lead the company towards achieving these targets, which include doubling profits by 2026 – with the strategic plan to do so centred on three key themes: Novus’ people and culture, building revenue, and continuous improvement.

Commenting on his new role, Davies said: “I am both excited and proud to be joining Novus at this important and exciting time in its history, and it is a real privilege and honour to be trusted by the Seddon family to be their Chief Executive Officer.
