Guardian Environmental Services (Guardian) has secured the national contract for the provision of preventative and reactive maintenance services across Campus Living Villages’ (CLV) UK’s 18 student accommodation villages.
With more than 12,600 beds across its UK portfolio, the contract sees CLV move from 35 service providers to a single supplier.
Under the terms of the deal, Guardian will support CLV in its delivery of customer focused services to its residents within the purpose built student accommodation buildings, using its experienced workforce of engineers whilst supporting apprentices into the sector.
Karen Knight, Director Procurement and Mobilisation at Campus Living Villages UK, said: “Throughout CLV’s competitive tender process, Guardian were able to demonstrate their experience and passion for providing a customer focused one-stop full preventative and reactive maintenance solution, whilst showing a clear understanding of the student accommodation sector including its requirements and challenges”
Simon Thurstans, Managing Director of Guardian Environmental Services Ltd, added: “We are incredibly excited to have won this contract expanding our existing local partnerships with CLV to a national portfolio for the forthcoming four years. In the last 24 months Guardian have made great efforts to really understand the intricacies of the PBSA market, its customer requirements and associated due diligence.”
