The move is seen as a natural fit for both organisations, and is expected to further enhance Churchill’s service capability and assist in creating a stronger profile and market position within the facilities management industry whilst producing a combined turnover approaching £90 million.
Launched in 1987, Redcliffe Catering offers a complete suite of catering-based services including contract catering, conference and banqueting, and event management throughout the UK.
Redcliffe will remain as an individual operating company within the Churchill Group and all current senior management will remain with the company.
Joel Briggs, group managing director, Churchill Services Group, commented:
“A seamless transition for all clients and staff is the number one priority as we look forward to a prosperous and exciting future. We want motivated and committed employees who feel included in the business to ensure we can work, develop and grow together – and deliver a great service that adds value for our customers.”
Last month, Churchill was also featured as one of only ten selected companies in the ‘Ones to Watch’ section in the latest Sunday Times Fast Track (which is sponsored by Virgin Group). Churchill was the only soft services company selected within the shortlist (now in its 17th year) which assesses current and future performance in terms of sales trajectory, profitability, management expertise and innovation.
