Following the announcement of Cloudfm’s prestigious Queen’s Award win for Enterprise, in the category of Innovation, the HM Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Jennifer Tolhurst will present the facilities management firm with the Award, in an official ceremony on 1 October.
Taking place at Cloudfm’s offices in Colchester, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex Vincent Thompson, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Colchester Nick and Elizabeth Cope will be amongst the special guests and Cloudfm employees celebrating Cloudfm’s highest accolade.
Cloudfm has won the prestigious award for its transformative technology-led solution and outstanding contribution to the facilities management industry. It is the first time a maintenance company has been honoured for innovation in 10 years.
Guests will also join an exclusive tour of the Cloudfm campus which comprises an Innovation Centre, Operations Hub, Training Academy and Head Quarters all based at Colchester Business Park and employing over 150 people locally.

Earlier this year Cloudfm formed a technology-driven partnership with University of Essex under the government’s innovation agency, Innovate UK. The organisations are working together to research and develop state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities. These products are already being trialled with some of Cloudfm’s clients.
