Ismena Clout receives an Honorary Fellowship of BIFM

Past chair of the BIFM, Ismena Clout, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of BIFM, making her the 12th person and the youngest in the Institute’s history to receive this award.

Appointed by the BIFM Board, Clout was recognised for her exceptional contribution to BIFM through volunteering and driving the Institute forward in a number of ways, such as the need to acknowledge and nurture new talent.

Clout was an integral part of the BIFM team during her tenure as chair (2012-2014) which created the Institute’s present medium term strategy.

Clout has also engaged in many other roles prior to her position as BIFM chair including being an active volunteer within the Institute’s regions and special interest groups, which saw her as former chair of the London Region and founder of the Rising FMs Special Interest Group.
