Countrywide blooms with new contract win

Grounds maintenance firm, Countrywide, has won an additional new five-year contract with LiveWest, to deliver grounds and garden maintenance for over 600 properties across Devon and North Somerset.

LiveWest, a housing developer in the south west, has awarded Countrywide with a further contract, which brings the overall grounds maintenance work to 40 per cent and is worth over half a million pounds per annum.

Covering Devon, Somerset and Cornwall, the property portfolio maintained includes an assortment of existing homes, alongside plans to deliver 15,000 new homes over the next 10 years.

Countrywide will maintain each of the properties and their surrounding areas by grass cutting, weeding, pruning, hedge cutting and litter picking. In addition to the contract, associated services will also be available to LiveWest on an ad hoc basis, including landscaping and planting, tree work, fencing and artificial grass.

Steven Jack, Regional Manager of Countrywide Exeter, commented: “We are delighted to win this new contract with LiveWest to deliver an all year-round grounds maintenance service and to cement our existing relationship of nine years.”

The new contract commences on 1 January 2019.
