CSSA to leave the Building Futures Group

Word is out that the Cleaning Support Services Association (CSSA) has voted to leave the Building Futures Group, the membership body that was formed by the merger of the Facilities Management Association, sector skills council Asset Skills and the CSSA in March 2014, providing a unified voice for all of the pre-merged organisations’ sectors of housing, property, planning, cleaning, parking and facilities management, as well as a training platform that educates, represents and supports service providers, service users and end users, as well as individuals and employers operating within the named sectors.

The vote took place at an extraordinary general meeting held before Christmas and whilst no official details have been released, a spokesman from the Building Futures Group has confirmed that both the CSSA and the BFG are to announce details regarding the decision very shortly.
