dunnhumby helps companies put customers at the centre of every decision by analysing consumer behaviour from over 350 million people in 25 countries. Having restructured and modernised its building facilities over the last 12 months, dunnhumby were looking to appoint a new provider to work in partnership with the in-house team and deliver significant value to the business.
Simon Booth, UK & Europe facilities manager, dunnhumby, said: “We were seeking to identify and appoint a facilities provider that was large enough to meet our needs across the UK and Ireland, but small enough to care about our business and our people. In Norland we have found a company that gives us that scale and demonstrates the values that makes it an ideal partner within our FM model.”
Norland is providing dunnhumby with a bundled service which includes hard FM, fire and security, building fabric maintenance and numerous soft services (cleaning, internal and external landscaping and grounds maintenance, front of house, waste management, hygiene services, pest control, event set up and meeting room support, window cleaning, post room services and a facilities help desk service). The sites are a mix of single occupancy and multi-tenancy, commercial and residential buildings located in West London, Hertfordshire and Dublin.
Ian Entwisle, Chief Executive Officer, Norland: “We’ve seen increasing appetite for hard-services led integrated FM. That’s because many organisations want the peace of mind which comes from appointing a provider with specialist M&E expertise but that they also want access to the wider benefits of a fully managed solution across all their building services, like having a single point of contact and the opportunity for far greater value for money.”
