Daventry Norse names new operations director

Nick Drake has been appointed by Norse Group as Operations Director at Daventry Norse, the group’s recently formed partnership with Daventry District Council.

Prior to joining Norse, Drake, who has over 25 years’ experience in waste management within both the public and private sectors, was a Business Area Manager for Veolia across East Anglia, overseeing and managing four large contracts in Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Speaking about the appointment, Norse Group Director, Mark Emms, said: “Daventry Norse will be delivering a complete change of service for all residential waste collections on day one. Nick’s extensive experience in the waste services sector will be invaluable in overseeing the smooth transition of waste services, from the council’s incumbent contractor into the new partnership.”
