Diamond Woods fit for The Queen to be planted nationally

A beautiful new wood, one of 100s nationally, is to be planted on the Chatsworth Estate later this year to mark Her Majesty’s 60 years on the throne.

The Woodland Trust, Chatsworth Estate and the Forestry Commission have linked-up to create a 25 hectare (62 acre) ‘Diamond Wood’ on the Estate as part of the Trust’s Jubilee Woods Project – the first in Derbyshire.
