DJD appointed onto new Home Office estates framework

Drivers Jonas Deloitte has been appointed onto the new Home Office Estates Professional Services Framework. The Home Office continues to promote its centralised services division and this national framework will be utilised by many key Home Office sponsored bodies who occupy and manage large property portfolios including various directorates, inspectorates, agencies and non departmental public bodies.

The Home Office administered the EU restricted tendering process in late last year, which was concluded in May 2012, confirming DJD as one of four consultants on the new framework with DJD making it the only incumbent firm securing a place.

DJD has been the Home Office key advisors for their estate consolidation programme and delivered major consolidation programmes in Sheffield, Liverpool and currently in Croydon. These consolidation programmes have relocated over 6,000 staff into both new and refurbished office accommodation, whilst satisfying Government guidelines for occupancy standards and sustainability and delivering significant whole life cost benefits.

The Home Office, along with their sponsored bodies, have been valued DJD clients for over 15 years and DJD place great significance on this national framework having been a key provider during the last three successive framework terms. Peter Wilkinson, DJD Partner, said: “We are delighted to re-secure our position on this important framework. DJD has delivered some very exciting and challenging projects for the Home Office over the past 15 years and this new framework will continue the delivery of cost reduction measures, whilst recognising the need to support the key Government Construction Agenda aspirations.”
