The Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei) has presented ISS UK & Ireland with the awards for ‘Employer of the Year Private Sector’ and ‘Inclusive Culture Private Sector’.
The enei is the UK’s leading employer network covering equality and inclusion in the workplace, and its annual awards recognise achievements in developing a truly inclusive organisational culture.
ISS UK & Ireland employs over 40,000 people from more than 166 different countries. With such a diverse workforce, the company says inclusion is integral to its business success. ISS Denmark has previously conducted research that showed a clear impact of diversity on the bottom line.
Commenting on the awards, Matthew Brabin, Country Manager, ISS UK & Ireland, said: “For ISS to become the world’s greatest service organisation over the long term, we are passionate about our ability to demonstrate that we are taking our responsibilities to manage our environmental and social impacts seriously. Building a diverse and inclusive culture is not just the right thing to do, but is also fundamental to our future business success, which is built on delivering service with a human touch.
“We also applaud all of those organisations who are recognised in the enei award and continue to build links across the facilities management industry.”
