EFS Facilities Services, a provider of integrated facilities management (IFM) services across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Turkey, has secured a contract with King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).
Covering an area of 181 square kilometres on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Coast, KAEC is the largest privately-funded new city development in the world. The city’s King Abdullah Port is one of the world’s top 100 container ports and feeds a growing logistics and manufacturing hub. The city is also the largest residential real estate company in Saudi Arabia in terms of sales and operates a wide range of commercial, leisure, and retail outlets.
The contract, which will run over an initial three-year period will see EFS will provide IFM services across the city, including catering, transportation and value-added services such as the integration of smart technology and Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM).
