Emcor UK has successfully won a contract to carry out integrated facilities management at London Stansted Airport’s control tower facility.
Working with national air traffic management company NATS, Emcor UK will provide TFM services across its UK control centres and corporate locations. Both companies have been working together since 2003.
Under the terms of the deal, Emcor UK will be responsible for both hard and soft facilities management services at Stansted’s Airport Control Tower, one of the 15 UK airport control towers at which NATS operates.
Services will include mechanical and electrical maintenance, asset management, waste management, fire and security systems, as well as cleaning and pest control.
Christopher Kehoe, executive director of Emcor, said:
“Having worked with NATS for over 10 years, it’s an honour to be given this additional opportunity to support the organisation.
“Using Emcor’s key account management framework, which is accredited to BS 11000 in Collaborative Business Relationships and which NATS and Emcor were two among the initial five companies in the UK to achieve, Emcor works closely with customers to support changing needs. Adding to our contract with NATS, performance of integrated facilities management for the Stansted Airport Control Tower facility further supports the success of the collaborate business relationship approach.”
