Integrated facilities management provider, EMCOR UK has won a five-year contract at Southampton Airport.
EMCOR UK will be responsible for the total facilities management for the Southampton Airport main terminal building, as well as its surrounding facilities and areas which include the airport offices, fire station, contractors’ offices, entrance roadways, and car rental building exterior. The scope of work will include performing mechanical and electrical services, cleaning, post, and concierge and grounds maintenance.
Commenting on the new contract Christopher Kehoe, executive director of EMCOR UK, said:

In 2013, the airport had 1.72 million passengers and managed a fleet of aircraft that flew to 40 destinations.
