Emrill appoints new Head of Business Development

UAE integrated facilities business, Emrill, has appointed Sally Harrison as its new Head of Business Development and Work Winning.

Harrison brings to the role more than a decades experience in business development, programme management and strategic development. Having worked for the UK Government in a number of private sector roles, she also has a solid understanding of political frameworks.

Harrison joins Emrill’s Dubai head office from Carillion (Emrills UK shareholder) which is where she initially began her career in 2005, working as regional manager on a government energy efficiency programme. This led to a government secondment, where Harrison held a number of senior policy positions before returning to Carillion to work in a number of strategy and business development roles. In January 2016 Harrsion was accepted onto Carillion’s Leadership Programme, undertaking an international placement in Muscat, Oman.

Commenting on the appointment, Emrill’s Managing Director, Alex Davies, said:

“Following a thorough selection process, Sally was identified as the strongest candidate to lead Emrill’s strategic business development and work winning department through its next stage of growth. She will be able to apply her expertise, her inter-personal and negotiation skills along with a fresh approach and strategic edge to drive forward the development aspect of our business which is currently achieving significant year on year growth.”

Harrison is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of PR and British Institute of Facilities Management.
