ENGIE combines energy and TFM services in extended CNH Industrial deal

ENGIE has been awarded a two-year extension on its existing contract with capital goods company, CNH Industrial N.V. which will see the combination of both energy and total facilities management service delivery and increase the scope to include all UK sites.

The agreement for combined services will now include services to Case IH, Case Construction Equipment, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction and Iveco brands across facilities in Basildon, Daventry, Winsford and Fen Farm.

Additional services now being delivered by ENGIE include manned guarding, fire response, post room, office and industrial cleaning, waste management and landscaping.

ENGIE has a long standing relationship with CNH Industrial N.V. having provided energy and technical maintenance services at the Basildon plant since 1996. The contract has led to a reduction in the company’s production costs through energy management, plant optimisation and efficiency projects. This optimised solution has delivered guaranteed cost-savings of some 17.5 per cent.

Nicola Lovett, ENGIE’s Divisional CEO of Services commented: “We have developed a strong relationship with CNH Industrial N.V. over the years and their confidence in ENGIE’s service delivery capabilities is clearly exemplified by this extension. Combining the provision of energy and services for our customers gives additional value helping to further facilitate an environment which increases productivity and improves their business performance.”

As part of the contract extension, around 60 staff will transfer to ENGIE under TUPE regulations.
