Facilities Management – The Business Case to air on TV tonight

The Business Channel.tv has produced a programme exploring the value created within the workplace by facilities management. The programme titled ‘Facilities Management – The Business Case’ is being aired on Sky 212 and Freesat 401 at 9pm tonight, Wednesday 17 October 2012. You will also be able to watch the programme online via the Business Channel.tv tomorrow.

The programme, brings business viewers up to speed with the value that FM can create in the workplace and how it can free up organisations to focus on their core strengths. It will define how FM encompasses the utilities that make a building work, such as energy and security, and the services that support a workforce, such as catering and cleaning. Taken as a whole, it will look at the impact that FM can make on efficiency and performance. The programme features both BIFM Chairman Ismena Clout and BIFM CEO Gareth Tancred, as well as Chris Hoar from FMA.

There will also be a programme airing the following Wednesday, Careers in Facilities Management: A world of choice and opportunity will air on 24 October 2012 at 8.30pm, on the Information Channel – Sky 212 and Freesat 401 channels. The programme will also be available for viewing on the BIFM website and Business TV website after the airing date.
