UAE facilities management company, Farnek has won four new facilities management contracts which combined are worth in excess of AED 10 million (£1.8 million).
Farnek will be responsible for delivering specialist support to Du, Cummins, Mashreq Bank and Dubai’s Gold & Diamond Park. Services will include Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance, cleaning, waste management and clerical manpower outsourcing services, across all seven emirates in the UAE.
A one-year deal has been signed between Farnek and UAE telecoms provider DU, to provide 27 clerical staff working across 62 branches throughout the region. This contract is in addition to the deal awarded to Farnek by DU to supply one hundred cleaners for its offices in the UAE.
In the financial sector, Mashreq Bank has signed Farnek for a 12-month period, to carry out HVAC maintenance services across 34 branches in Dubai, 10 in Abu Dhabi, and a further 12 in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. The agreement involves the permanent deployment of eight engineers for the duration of the contract.
A one-year deal has also been awarded by Gold and Diamond Park, a luxury retail outlet in Dubai for Farnek to deliver cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, generator and waste management consultancy services and will involve the placement of 32 cleaners and 15 maintenance engineers.
Lastly, Farnek has secured a three-year contract with world-wide power company, Cummins which designs, manufactures, sells and services diesel engines. Farnek will supply 45 cleaning staff and maintenance engineers, to provide MEP, HVAC as well as elevator maintenance and cleaning, for Cummins’ five branches situated in the UAE. Farnek will also manage third party contracts for the landscaping and pest control.
