Following a Facilities Management Services briefing held by the Cabinet Office at the London Treasury, it has published a number of draft tender documents in relation to its new Facilities Management Contracting Model (FMCM).
The FMCM model will provide customers with extensive access to a range of specific services including total facilities management, hard FM and soft FM services, and also includes an FM Marketplace providing SMEs to multi-national organisations with a quick and efficient route to market for low value contracts via a basic pre-approved supplier approach.
The briefing which was held for suppliers interested in tendering for the Facilities Management Services agreement only, outlined details regarding the government’s proposed lotting structure and procurement process, and a draft version of both the framework agreement and the FM service standards has been published online prior to the publication of the Official Journal of the EuropeanUnion (OJE)U which is expected later this month.
The current target dates for the Facilities Management Services agreement are:
- OJEU Publication – August 2014
- Bidders Conference – September 2014
- Contract Award – December 2014
- GoLive – February 2015
As a result of the imminent OJEU notice, the Cabinet Office is not inviting any feedback on the published draft documents.
