Helistrat launches international network

Environmental consultancy and contract manager, Helistrat, has announced plans for the international expansion of the business.

The move will enable Helistrat to extend its sustainability consultancy and ongoing contract management services to existing ‘blue chip’ clients with international operations, as well as opening up new opportunities with businesses who are either not based, or have a significant proportion of their business, located outside of the UK.

The first phase of the expansion will see Helistrat align themselves with partners who emulate the company’s own values, ambitions and skills. The result will be a network of resources deployed in Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Finland, the Middle East, the Americas, Southeast Asia and China. Once these are successfully established, a review will be undertaken ahead of further expansion later in 2018.

Commenting on the growth of the business, Helistrat’s Managing Director, Martyn Oakton said: “Our international network will enable us to further meet our customers’ needs and operate effectively outside of the UK. Helistrat’s sustainability blueprint is not limited by international borders and nor are our clients. It is becoming increasingly important to have a worldwide capability to provide customers with a consistent, and cost-effective service across all their operations. It is also vital to recognise the cultural and commercial variations that international growth brings, and the importance of a local presence cannot be underestimated.”

The Helistrat global service is managed centrally from the UK, to ensure a consistent approach to processes and procedures, and to deliver the agreed outcomes in a standardised format. The global reach with a local touch, delivers a uniform methodology and reporting structure that is supported by a coherent project management plan. Where partnership associations are required, these will be overseen by Helistrat and provided with any relevant support or guidance to project conclusion.
