HygroMatik makes maintenance easy

HygroMatik-MIFM-Nov13HygroMatik maintenance videos are available to watch or download free from the humidification experts’ website. These informative videos have been designed to accompany the comprehensive user manuals for its popular range of humidification products for the HVAC and spa sector.

Individual components can be removed and easily serviced which means HygroMatik’s products are fully maintainable, and older systems can be refurbished.

Andie Chessun National Sales Manager UK & RoI, at HygroMatik comments;

“This is important to consider as it reduces the cost of servicing and also reduces the unnecessary waste produced by disposing of large groups of components or even complete cylinders. We offer a range of products that can be maintained, which avoids vast numbers of cylinders going to landfill, and with our detailed package of maintenance literature clients can achieve optimum output from their system.”

In an electrode steam humidifier, mineral deposits settle in the open area below the electrodes and are removed through automatic periodic system rinsing and routine maintenance. With HygroMatik’s HyLine and CompactLine electrode steam humidifiers, the blow-down pump itself has wide openings and can flush out smaller pieces of mineral deposit. This extends the service life of the unit and reduces the required maintenance interval.

Andie Chessun adds;

“With appliances such as steam humidifiers service requirements can have a significant impact on life cycle costs, and anything that reduces the frequency of these and increases the reliability of the components can save a considerable amount of time and money.”

When specifying products it is important to consider how easy to maintain the system is. If individual components can be removed and easily serviced it means a product is fully maintainable, and older systems can be refurbished. This reduces the cost of servicing and also reduces the unnecessary waste produced by disposing of large groups of components or even whole systems. Environmental concerns require a reduction in consumables, especially those classed as industrial waste. HygroMatik has been awarded ISO14001 certification demonstrating its compliance with the international Environmental Management Standard DIN EN ISO 14001:2004.
