Improving health and well-being for all as IWBI membership continues to grow

The International WELL Building Institute’s (IWBI) recently launched membership program for leaders who want to accelerate the adoption of a worldwide culture of health and well-being, has added a number of global leaders to its already impressive roster.

The program is designed to be a platform for collaboration that allows for deeper engagement and broader reach for companies excited by the evidence that shows how the places and spaces we occupy every day can help people thrive.

There are two tiers of membership at different price points, so companies can select the best fit for their organisational goals. Member benefits include discounts on the WELL Certification process and WELL AP credentialing program, specialised opportunities to publicise accomplishments, and more touchpoints with IWBI leadership and across the broader community through members-only annual events and enhanced digital engagement. The program creates pathways for WELL advocates and champions to stay connected, share best practices, and explore new shared initiatives.

European members include Arup and Overbury from the UK, Deerns and EDGE Technologies from the Netherlands, and the Sweden Green Building Council.

IWBI Chairman and CEO Rick Fedrizzi, commented: “The power of the WELL movement stems from the passion and leadership of our community. This recent commitment of new IWBI members makes clear to me that we are well on our way to building and sustaining a healthier future.”

“Many of these members are already part of our community and others are taking their first steps towards getting involved. I’m extremely proud to welcome this diverse group of organisations to the IWBI member network.”

The launch of membership coincides with WELL’s rapid uptake across the globe as the tool of choice for leaders who value the verified performance of design and operations when the health and well-being of people is at stake.

To date, over 1,660 projects with more than 365 million square feet of registered space are participating in WELL in 50 countries.
