Incentive FM Group has raised £10,125 for Scotty’s Little Soldiers by hosting a charity clay pigeon shoot in London.
The independent facilities management and services company is a corporate sponsor of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed Forces. The charity shoot brings the total raised by Incentive for Scotty’s so far to £23,272.
The event was held at E.J.Churchill Shooting Ground in High Wycombe, which has played host to the World English Sporting Championship in 2014 and 2016.
Fourteen teams entered the event, including clients, staff and friends of Incentive FM Group. Scotty’s Little Soldiers Chief Executive, Stuart Robinson, and Corporate Fundraising Manager, Kate Dring, also took part in the event to educate participants about the charity as well as assisting with the raffle and auction.
Jeremy Waud, Chairman of Incentive FM Group, commented: “Yet again, our charity shoot has been an outstanding success. Scotty’s Little Soldiers is an extremely important charity to the all the staff at Incentive FM Group and we are thrilled to have raised such an incredible amount of money. We are so pleased with how the day panned out, that we have rebooked for 20 teams of five guns next year on Tuesday 4th September 2018. We will be delighted to welcome other teams from the wider FM industry to take part.”
